What do people actually celebrate this day? As people sit around their scrumptious dinner table and stuff their faces with turkey, potatoes and cranbery sauce, are they actually thinking of Jesus? When they gather round the christmas tree and open presents that they insist Santa Claus brought, are they thinking about the birth of Christ? Most don't even think about sharing their blessings with those that are in true need, some will only think about getting drunk, others will get angry at the gifts they received because it wasn't what they wanted. It's pathetic. I laugh at those who tell me this is the day they celebrate the birth of Christ. 'Tis only the season to help retailers make astronimical profits. If you participated, congrats, at least it might help this dismal economy, but don't come tell me you bought your children toys because you were thinking of Christ.
